Quirky Australian Animals, a children's art course with Zinia King, starting August 16; 4pm - 5.30pm

Join local Artist Zinia King for a five-week deep dive into learning, drawing and painting Australian animals. Each lesson will begin with a discussion about a particular Australian animal and progress to drawing/painting that animal. Different mediums and techniques will be explored to portray the animals, though there will be an emphasis on pen/watercolour artworks. At the end of the five weeks, the students will have developed the skills to draw/paint a variety of animals, along with learning some interesting facts about these animals.

Ages 7+. 4 - 5.30pm

Watercolour paint, brushes and easels are provided for use. Please purchase the following:

300gsm watercolour paper, Canson is reccommended (cut to A4 pieces)
Water-resistant, fine point pens (not the Artlines brand. UniPens, from Officeworks, are the best value for money; 0.3 and 0.5mm, black).

Cancellations - if you cancel

Please double check the date and your availability before booking because cancelling your booking  will result in forfeit of payment.

If you have booked and cannot attend, you may send a friend to take your place. Please advise us and we will transfer the booking into their name. Non attendance under any circumstances forfeits the fee paid and is non transferrable.

As classes require a minimum number of participants to go ahead, your cancellation may mean the class is unable to continue - causing other attendees to miss out and the tutor to be cancelled at the last minute.
