Collection: Catherine Fitz - Gerald

As an artist I am inspired by themes of abundance and memory viewed through the lens of the natural world around me. The vibrancy and luminosity of fruit elicit memories of my childhood, favourite family recipes, shared experiences and the joy to be found in the small everyday pleasures of growing and harvest.

Catherine Fitz-Gerald works from her home studio, freely sharing her space and skills with a loose collaboration of fellow artists and children for over 15 years.

Each year she opens her studio during SALA and is regularly asked to give artist talks.

Catherine undertakes many private commissions and her works are held in private collections in the USA, Germany, Singapore, New Zealand and throughout Australia.
