$240, for two, full-day sessions on Wednesday, November 11 & 18, 10am to 4pm. Lunch and beverages are available to order from our cafe (to avoid disappointment, please order on arrival).

For all abilities, this course will take you through more advanced techniques in pen and ink.

A two-day course for beginners who have either completed Julia’s Drawing for the Terrified course or who have some basic understanding of drawing in tone. Julia refers to the ‘rules of seeing’ that she teaches in her introductory drawing course to help you avoid simple mistakes, and shows you step by step techniques that will boost your confidence in using this medium. A series of simple subjects will be tackled, using pen and ink. A list of materials will be supplied.

Julia has been teaching Drawing for the Terrified (DFTT) classes and workshops for over 25 years, both in South Australia and in the UK. She is a professional illustrator and a trained teacher of adults.
She gives classes in life drawing, pastels and mixed media, watercolour and printmaking.

Terms and conditions: Payment at time of booking is essential.

Fees are non refundable unless classes are cancelled by the tutor for reasons of minimum numbers not being met, or other reason provided. Check costs at time of booking as they are subject to change without notice. Materials are not included unless stated

Where can I park?

Atelier Crafers is on Cox Place, Crafers – directly behind the BP service station on Main Street.

Parking is available at the tennis courts on Sharrod Court at the rear of Atelier Crafers and on the kerb opposite Atelier Crafers. We ask that you do not park in the car parks designated as private or in other people’s driveways.

An accessible parking space is available at the front of Atelier Crafers for those who have a disabled parking permit.

Bus routes run up the freeway regularly to the Crafers park n ride and the Main Street of Crafers.

Where can I buy coffee and food?

We have a full café that will be available before, during and after your workshop. If you are requiring lunch, please ensure you order before 11am as our cafe can become quite busy at lunch times and we may not be able to serve your food before your art class recommences.
