Drawing for the Terrified

Hosted by Atelier Crafers, 1 Cox Place, Crafers

Wednesday 18 August and Wednesday 25 August, 10am - 4pm

$280 for two full days; basic materials provided. Lunch and beverages are available for purchase from the venue.

Only 6 places available.

A two-day course for beginners, that aims to unlock our ‘right’ brains and build confidence by focusing on the rules of drawing and what happens when we don’t fully understand them, thus revealing the reasons why we make mistakes. Relaxing and enjoyable exercises demonstrate how our brains fool us into drawing what we ‘know’ rather than what we actually see. All basic materials included.
Julia has been teaching Drawing for the Terrified (DFTT) classes and workshops for over 25 years, both in South Australia and in the UK. She is a professional illustrator and a trained teacher of adults and teaches life drawing, pastels and mixed media, watercolour and printmaking.
