$120 for a full-day workshop. Lunch and beverages are available to purchase from our cafe. **Please scroll down for the Materials List.**
This workshop will include understanding and controlling your brushwork; the control of watercolour and watercolour techniques; and understanding tonal values in one and two colours. Using a step-by-step approach in composition, tonal value and colour selection you will be able to paint using a limited palette to create a mood in your paintings. It will prepare you to plan, choose your own palette and paint on your own.
Alan Ramachandran is a multi-award winner is his medium of watercolour. Since migrating to Adelaide since 2007 he has won about 15 top awards and 60 combined awards. He has had 5 solo exhibitions and 4 group exhibitions. Being a finalist in the Waterhouse Natural History Art Prize was a highlight in 2002 as well as being a finalist in the Pro Hart Landscape Art Prize 2017, Fleurieu Art Prize and Adelaide Hills Landscape Art Prize 2017. He was a tutor at Grampians Brushes in 2018.

Where can I park?

Atelier Crafers is on Cox Place, Crafers – directly behind the BP service station on Main Street.

Parking is available at the tennis courts on Sharrod Court at the rear of Atelier Crafers and on the kerb opposite Atelier Crafers. We ask that you do not park in the car parks designated as private or in other people’s driveways.

An accessible parking space is available at the front of Atelier Crafers for those who have a disabled parking permit.

Bus routes run up the freeway regularly to the Crafers park n ride and the Main Street of Crafers.

Where can I buy coffee and food?

We have a full café that will be available before, during and after your workshop.
