SALA Exhibition
Great Southern Land - SALA 25
Our SALA exhibition this year celebrates our 'Great Southern Land'. Our collection of artworks celebrate and honour Australia, with its unique flora, fauna and spectacular landscape. It is an exhibition of new works from our artists in painting (oils, watercolour, acrylic, mixed media), ink and textile art. The exhibition runs from Monday, July 28 to Sunday, August 31 in the fine art gallery of Atelier Crafers and showcases the work of local, award-winning artists, professional and emerging.
Opening night is Saturday, August 9, from 7 to 8.30pm.
Participating artists are: Rod Bax (featured painting); Trevor Newman; Lisa Losada; Evelynne Richardson; Alan Ramachandran; Emma Swift Kirkman; Janette Humble; Chris Badenoch; Tracey Vale; Julia Wakefield; Julianne Caville; Rodney Kirk; and Neva Jones; Robin Hicks.
During the event, on August 23, we'll also be hosting a Masterclass demonstration of painting 'Majestic Gums' by Trevor Newman. You can book into this via the link here:

Indonesian Batik at Atelier Crafers
Bring a friend along or come solo to learn this beautiful and relaxing art. It may sound challenging, but you'll be guided by Rehana step-by-step to finish your very own batik scarf or table runner. You'll learn to use special batik tool Tjanting and brushwork to make beeswax resist method textile print. This workshop is conducted by Studio Rags.
