Collection: Frances Griffin

Frances draws inspiration from remnant patches of vegetation on farmland and verges in the eastern Mt Lofty Ranges. These resilient survivors are a source of wonder, as portals into environments of the past, and archetypes for learning.

Frances chooses the landscape genre to emphasis a nostalgia for elements in the natural environment that are becoming rare or overlooked, to highlight the importance of conservation.

Frances has a Visual Arts degree (2010) from Adelaide Central School or Art and has exhibited her works for 15years.
