Almond (Prunus amygdalus)
Recently my neighbour decided to cut down his Almond tree as it was looking very unhealthy. I was fortunate that he gave me one large piece of the trunk, rather than using it as firewood. After the piece dried , I decided to make the Lady sculpture. Finished with four coats of Danish oil.
