$295 for a five weeks, Fridays 11 Sept - 9 Oct ; 10am-1pm.

For continuing and new students: Broaden your watercolour skills under the expert guidance of Robin Hicks, including colour-mixing techniques, composition, texture, form, ink and wash and mark making techniques, to create fresh, and colourful paintings with a focus on your own developing style.
Material List
You will need:
Paints - in tubes only.
A minimum of three primary colours, red, blue and yellow with a warm and cool of each, plus an earth colour.
Choose at least one colour from each line from the list below, and bring along whatever you already have.
Ultramarine blue/ cobalt blue
Cerulean blue/manganese blue
Cadmium red/spectrum red
Alizarin/Rose madder
Cadmium yellow/spectrum yellow/Hansa yellow/Aso yellow
Burnt umber
Yellow ochre/Australian red gold/raw Sienna
Burnt Sienna/
White - optional
Watercolour paper - 300gsm, medium.
Brands: Arches/Canson/Saunders/Fabriano
One full sheet cut into quarters, each piece measuring approximately 37 x 26cm
Or, a watercolour pad around that size.
One pencil for sketching
One black ink waterproof pen 0.3, 0.5, or 0.7 is ideal but slightly thicker than these is alright.
One sketching pad, loose paper, or mixed media paper
Brushes:
Round watercolour brush (comes to a fine point), size 12-14
One flat, 1-2 inch hake, natural or synthetic hair

Terms and Conditions
Bookings and Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place in an art class, workshop or demonstration.
Please check the date, time and any materials requirements carefully before completing your booking.
Cancellations by Participants
We understand that plans can change.
You may cancel your booking and receive a full refund when you provide at least 48 hours’ notice before the scheduled starting time of the class, workshop or demonstration.
Refund requests must be made by telephone or email and received by Atelier Crafers at least 48 hours before the scheduled starting time.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled starting time are non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend, you may arrange for another person to take your place. Please contact Atelier Crafers before the event so that we can transfer the booking into their name.
Failure to attend without providing notice will be treated as a cancellation within 48 hours and the booking fee will be forfeited.
For courses consisting of multiple sessions, missed sessions are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another course or date. The full course fee remains payable.
Classes, workshops and demonstrations rely on minimum participant numbers. Late cancellations can affect the viability of an event and may result in other participants and tutors being inconvenienced.
Cancellations by Atelier Crafers
All classes, workshops and demonstrations require a minimum number of bookings to proceed. Minimum numbers may vary depending on the event.
If Atelier Crafers needs to cancel an event, participants will be contacted as soon as possible and offered one of the following:

A transfer to another suitable date or event

A credit to use towards another class, workshop or demonstration

A full refund
Atelier Crafers is not responsible for additional costs incurred by participants, including travel, accommodation or materials purchased for an event.
Catastrophic Fire Danger Days and Other Unforeseen Circumstances
For the safety of our participants, tutors and staff, classes, workshops and demonstrations will not proceed on declared Catastrophic Fire Danger Days affecting the Crafers area.
Where possible, the event will be rescheduled and participants will be offered a transfer to the new date. If the rescheduled date is unsuitable, participants may request a credit or refund.
Events may also need to be postponed or cancelled due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, emergencies, government restrictions, tutor illness or other safety concerns. Participants will be contacted as soon as possible and offered a transfer, credit or refund where appropriate.
Fees and Materials
The advertised fee at the time of booking applies to your booking.
Materials are not included unless this is clearly stated in the class, workshop or demonstration description. Please check the materials list before attending.

Where can I park?
Atelier Crafers is located on Cox Place, Crafers, directly behind the BP service station on Main Street.
Parking is available:

Near the tennis courts on Sharrod Court, behind Atelier Crafers

Along the kerb opposite Atelier Crafers, where permitted
Please do not park in spaces marked as private or block neighbouring driveways.
An accessible parking space is available at the front of Atelier Crafers for visitors displaying a valid disability parking permit.
Regular bus services travel along the South Eastern Freeway to the Crafers Park ’n’ Ride and Main Street, Crafers.
Can I purchase food and drinks?
Yes. Atelier Crafers has a fully licensed café offering coffee, drinks, meals and refreshments.
The café is available before, during and after your class or workshop during normal opening hours.
Do I need to bring art materials?
Materials are not included unless the event description specifically states otherwise.
Please check the materials list provided with your booking and bring all required supplies with you.
