The artist is Ross Paterson -
Paterson is the recipient of more than two hundred awards, including the Camberwell Art Show Australian Landscape Award, which he won three times, the inaugural Kenneth Jack Award for Watercolour, 2007 and an Award of Excellence at the 2012 Shanghai Zhujiajiao International Watercolour Biennial.
His work is represented in many public, corporate and private collections throughout Australia and overseas, including Benalla Art Gallery, Maryborough Art Gallery, Shepparton Art Museum, Bright Art Gallery, Wangaratta Art Gallery, City of Kingston, Box Hill Council, Corowa Art Space, Euroa Council, Knox City Collection, Easashi, Japan and Zhujiajiao Art Centre, China.
Elected a member of the Australian Watercolour Institute in 2008, he has been a member of the Twenty Melbourne Painters Society since 1998.
