Clary Sage Essential Oil
With its nutty, herbal fragrance, Clary Sage Essential Oil is prized for it’s soothing and restorative capabilities, both in diffusers and on your skin.
Like many of our customers, you may want to add this superb essential oil to your creams, lotions, perfumes, soaps and detergents. As a moisturiser it may help regulate the levels of sebum on your skin. Or add a few drops to your burner, diffuser or bath water to help ease anxiety, stress, insomnia and depression. Clary Sage Essential Oil is also known to help relieve back pain, cramps, sore muscles and headaches. Great as an aid for menstrual pain, menopausal symptoms and for helping to relax women in labour.
For assisting to sooth irritated or inflamed eyes, lay a cloth that has been soaked in warm water mixed with a few drops of Clary Sage Essential Oil over your eyes for 10 minutes.
In Aromatherapy, Clary Sage Oil is known for its inspirational, euphoric effect on the psyche, and to enocourage calmness and tranquility.
Clary Sage Essential Oil blends well with Bergamot, Cedarwood, Citronella, Frankincense, Grapefruit, Lavender, Lime, Sandalwood and Vetiver essential oils.
Directions for Use:
Diffusion: Add a few drops of Clary Sage Oil to your Aromatherapy Diffuser or Diffuser Necklace for an instant calming atmosphere.
Topical Use: Add Clary Sage Oil to your carrier oil of choice at a 2-4% dilution and apply topically as a skin serum or massage oil. For facial application, we recommend a 1% dilution.
