The origami cranes are sealed to add durability and protect them from moisture. But they are not waterproof, so do not submerge the earrings in water, or wear them to go swimming or taking showers.

Each earring is made with an origami folded paper crane in colored Chiyogami Japanese paper, paired with a colour coordinated bead, hanging from a gold tone tone fishhook ear-wire.
The length of the earring from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the of the bead is 6.5cm. The width of the crane is about 4.5cm.
Very lightweight.
Crane symbolizes longevity, good fortune and fidelity.
