River Red Gum deep bowl
Rich colour, beautiful grain and a deep connection to the Australian landscape make this handcrafted River Red Gum bowl a particularly striking piece.
Created by Adelaide Hills woodturner Neil Strong, the bowl has been made from recycled and rescued River Red Gum (Eucalyptus camaldulensis) sourced from the Murray River region of South Australia.
The timber's remarkable reddish-brown tones are brought to life through sweeping grain patterns, darker natural markings and gentle variations in colour.
Its generous rounded form, wide opening and smooth, polished surface showcase the natural beauty of this iconic Australian timber.
A substantial and elegant piece, beautiful as a decorative centrepiece or functional bowl.
