Tiny Standing Spirit
Olive (Olea europaea)
Viewing a documentary depicting primeval figures provided the inspiration for this exhibit, imagination then took over. After turning, the piece was cut, carved, sanded and painted. Tiny Standing Spirit was turned from a street tree pruning that was to become mulch. Finished with Danish oil.
